The announcement came yesterday:

Like all Baseball-Reference pages, Rudolph’s page lists similar batters

The page, the site’s holiday card, was created in partnership with John Hartwell of Hartwell Studio Works, the designer of all Sports Reference logos and marks.

The site was enhanced by Jay Rogers of Jayro Design & Illustration

I’m awaiting news from three wise men

Presumably later today we will have a reports from:

  • Peter Gammons, who probably saw Rudolph play in the Factory League.
  • Ken Rosenthal, who will share that the Yankees are interested in Rudolph.
  • Bob Nightengale, who will bring us the back story on Rudolph’s red nose.

My suggestion for next year…
